Thanks

Thanks,

I wound up putting the small clown in confinement last night to protect him from the large one. They were playing a little rough and getting dangerously close to the open top. Hoping the female will settle down and take to the smaller one in a week or so.

Interesting idea.

the flow over the front panel makes it fuzzy to see inside the tank. Perhaps an overflow to the sides or even one side can give you the novelty of it and better viewing of inside the tank. I also wonder how fun salt creep would be?

It actually looks pretty good in person. I think the camera distorted it a little more than reality. The salt creep has not been a problem.... yet, It does evaporate quote a bit but the Ultrasonic sensor / RO water top off is taking care of that.

Let me know how the cleaning goes. I've always liked the look of cascade tanks but afraid the cleaning maintenance would be a challenge.

Krystal clear aquatics in Auburn has a great one 1" thick acrylic and something like 50 gallons (I think). There's always looks great. I spoke to them about it and they didn't have any complaints about it. I will let you know how it goes, so far the only problem has been snails going over and down the cascade. I have dug a couple out of the tray and a few small ones have found their way to the fuge.
