Glue or Epoxy?

Hi everyone,
One of my powerheads plastic piece cracked - I've tried crazy glue and it still comes apart due to the water pressure. Any suggestions?

Any idea what kind of plastic? PVC glue, or weldon #16 may be effective depending on the kind of plastic.

I don't know the material from looing at it. What is actually broken? Got a pic of that?

It's the downspout the clips on to the powerhead.

I like gel super glue. Did you also try clamping it a bit? That might help if you haven't.

Once tacked in place with super glue try building up the joint with baking soda and adding a drop of glue each time. The stuff turns into a super hard shell. Any kind of super glue will work but the thin runny stuff seems best with baking soda. Avoid the fumes, it can irritate some people's eyes

2 part epoxy might be another option. Super glue is handy, but not all that strong for stuff like this.

Late to the party... Loctite has a 2 part superglue formulated for plastics. Home Depot usually has it in stock
