A close friend has one in his basement. It is a really cool setup, and has been a great project for him. It is nice to have something like this growing in his house in the city, which is normally limited for space to grow anything. The fishtank was not the highlight of the unit, but infact the veg growing. It was really hot near the unit Grove. It is also cool to back a local MIT project!

The water is pretty brown because of the iron additives fir the plants. It is good for goldfish. The focus is on growing the food rather than on supporting a beautiful fish tank. It looks like it grows food pretty well and is cool for an ecosystem lesson for the kids.
