Leopard Wrasse Question

Hello,
My male Bipartus has been harassing my female to the point where she only comes out a few hours a day. I caught the male and now have him in a temporary set up. I'm hoping to add 2 more females. My question is if I put the male back in a few weeks would he go back to harassing the others?

He may or he may not. Does he bother new fish when you add them? He may just ignore them till he is use to them.
