Small footprint skimmer

I'm looking for a skimmer that will fit in a small sump, (a converted wet/dry filter) for my 45 gallon reef tank. In the sump, the dimensions must be 6.75" x 6.75" x 24" or less. For a hang-on-sump model, the footprint could be 9" x 9". I am currently using a Coralife super skimmer 65. The original rio pump that came with it, was noisy and went through impellers every few months. I replaced the pump with a Mag-drive and now I get lots of fine bubbles but very little skimmate. I can find skimmers online that fit the size requirements, but I'd feel better with BRS member input.

I run a refugium, GFO and carbon in a dual media reactor, do 10 gallon weekly water changes and phosphates and nitrates are nealy indetectable. My other parameters are excellent and in balance. Is it possible that there just aren't many DOCs present? I do get light film algae on the glass.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
