snail overloaded?

I just take a look at the tank after the lights off. There are more than a hundred small snails on the glass. What is the limit of snails can I have in a 55 gallon tank? How do I control snail population?

Give extras away.
Seriously - a few of our folks have had just way too many cerith snails.
So they give them away. Makes a good gift for newbies, and also can be used in trade for frags.

Yup, I was gonna say, if you feel like you need to release some of your pent up snails, I've got plenty of real estate

Same here, I could take some off your hands... I don't have any in my 20 gallon at work.
BTW: Lionfish has eaten, but nothing dead yet... :/

most of my snails are small and a lot of them are "cap snails". They are good alge eatters and grow fast.
