Styrofoam thickness under tank?

Styrofoam thickness under tank? I am not sure if this is in the right forum for this question. I posted this on RC as well. I am not sure how many rimless tanks are here in the BRS. I ordered a custom 205 gallon tank (51X37X25) and I am curious as to what size Styrofoam to put under the rimless tank. Lowe’s has ½ 4X8 sheets. Is this enough as I would like to hide the foam with a piece of ¾ trim.

I didn't realize you ordered a rimless? Nice! You should ask the tank maker what thickness they suggest. Damn, 37" of depth is gonna look "sick nice."

1\2" is fine it is only to reduce pressure points.

There was an issue with the glass distributor so I guess it will be a few more weeks after the original completion date. It just gives me a bit more time to prepare. As of right now I am ready so let me rephrase that… It gives s me a little more time to sit & look at a stand with nothing on it wishing there was. Good news about the ½ inch insulation though, Thanks Greg. That will help me hide it a bit. What are you using under yours?
