About a year ago I got a coral beauty from Dennis Vig. and put it in my 44 pentagon tank at work. I figured it was about full grown so I decided to get it a mate. About 4 weeks ago I picked up a small coral beauty at a local shop, quaratined it at home for about 10 days then brought it in. There has been a little bit of chasing, but the small one has been in the tank for about 2 weeks now and is eating well, and seems to come out more and more.
I think I may have succeeded in pairing these guys up. Not sure if they will breed in such a small tank. Apparently all small Centropyge genus fish are immature females, and the dominant fish morphs into male (opposite of what clownfish do).
Anybody out there with a dwarf angel pair? Any of them breeding. I knew there was a guy at a shop that had a pair of flames that he claimed would spawn every night.
