10g sump/fuge complete

Is there any provision to stop the sump from overflowing due to a back flow siphon if you lose power? Check valve maybe?

i have a level marked on the side. it's a "running" level. the water in the sump can't be any higher than that mark while the pump and skimmer are running. that way if the power goes out the skimmer and main tank will drain into the sump at a safe level. safe being right to the top.....LOL. but it doesn't overflow.
