I have this one (or so I thought) brittle star for going on 2+ years.
Comes out at dusk, eats all the detritus keeps a clean house.
I was removing some dead snail shells and a couple of the babies came out.
Now I know & have read that brittle starts are either male/female not hermaphrodites.
Some brood eggs and all are asexual as well. But where did these little ones come from?
in the picture about center on the bottom, look for the tiny brittle star. I must have hundreds as I can see their arms as dusk approaches.
