CHiller on the Fritz

So I'm running a 115V Copeland Chiller on the 350gal. For the past few days it's been running wonky. It tries to come on and the motor can't seem to get going. Motor kicks on for about two seconds then clicks off. Repeats this every couple of seconds.

I was thinking it might just need some oil but I'm not all that mechanically inclined on this sort of thing. Any ideas?

It might be but honestly I have no clue. If I was closer I would take a look, but alas I am not.

Super Jared... you just failed me. My heart is broken. Alas who is there to rescue poor little ol' me!

Does the motor actually run or just try to run? It could be the motor if it just tries to run.

Could be the compressor it may need oil or worse..frozen/locked up could also be a bad connection to the compressor. how warm is the compressor ? if you dont feel any warmth on the compressor than it is likely the wiring. if its hot it may be frozen/locked up you could try shaking it.
