Fragging chalice question

I want to frag my chalice soon for the September show. My chalice is about 5" in diameter. I was thinking about shrinking its size and cutting around the skirt to get 4 frags off while maintaining the shape.

Would that kill the center with all the edges being cut?

Should I cut small pieces off at a time? Here is a picture of the colony in question

The center should be fine as long as there are several eyes there.

Thanks Dong! Now I asked in another forum. Scroll saw (new blades thinnest ones) or should I buy Dremel disc bit?
