I kept freshwater when I was younger, I'm totally new to this salt water business. My father is life-long freshwater keeper and always told me 'salt water is too hard'. I guess we'll see!

I ordered a 12g dx nano-cube which should arrive shortly. 50w heater and koralina nano head from marine depot.

By basic plan is:

Toss bioballs/ceramic replace with filter floss, eventually add chaeto, maybe chemipure or activated charcoal?
Cycle with live rock/sand
Cleaning crew of 10 or so astrea, nassarus or cerith.
Maybe a shrimp or emerald crab.
Wait till everything is stable and get 2 x Ocellaris
Once nitrates are 0 and after a few months of fish being ok maybe a few corals (xenia, mushrooms, leather or zoa?)

What do you guys think? Like I said, totally new to SW but I've had a terrible cold so I've been doing a bunch of reading.
