Help!

I just watched my BTA open it's mouth start shrinking and excrete some brownish substance. With in 5 minutes it has completely shrunk.

What's going on? Should i be worried? I am testing water now.

I wouldn't be worried, It's probably just excreting waste. If it starts melting, then you have a problem. If I'm incorrect I'm sure an anemone expert will chime in. HTH.

I would guess that it pooped.
Damn I'm glad I don't poop out my mouth.

I wouldn't worry though because I've seen them sucked into powerheads and when I get them free again they are fine.
