That is nice! I wanted to build one but I gave up and bought a PFO fixture. Now I want to build a cabinet matching the tank for junk and CA reactor but I have never really done woodwork before..I think I could do it but it would not be pretty I am sure.

How much does that weigh?

EDIT: OH, great idea with the sliding shelf!

you can do it just take your time, draw it out on the paper first :D

I love it...I hope it comes with a Captain Canuck seal of approval. Its more durable now that Ms. Captain Canuck will be staining it.

Nice Job Captain , Can I give one little piece of advice , the rollers your are using for the slides are kv full extension rollers (from work I assume we use the same ones) They are not meant to be mounted in a horizontal fashion( found out the hard way of course) , It may work now put in time all the ball bearings will fall out (possibly into the tank) when this happens the rollers will no longer support the weight of the pull out shelf and will come crashing down, you could use the same rollers you just have to re-design the shelf to use vertical rollers.

Cool, thank for advice. I did not think that will happen, better be safe :p
I'm going to change the two ends to side mount set up. The ends slide is design to hold 100 ponds. Leave the center the way it is, the center will keep the shelf even, the shelf is ?? plywood, what you think? :)

Maybe we should scratch the idea of the sliding door. Its turning into too much trouble. We could try to concentrate more on making the doors in the front. I love the idea of a big door as you have done and 2 small doors like this. Do you think its possible to do?

Maybe something like this...This is MikeG's canopy. You dont have to do it this fancy....this is just so you can get an idea just incase you wasent getting what I was trying to explain. You dont even have to do fancy designs to the doors. They can stay just like they are.
