Lol thanks. Its a Cervelo I put together last year. Older frameset (2012 RS i believe) and ultegra R8000 components. The other is my wife's - Specialized Dolce.

Today was the big day finally. Broke down my RSR350 at our old house, and got the 50 up and running at the new house.
I’ve attached a series of photos, and you can see the project start nice and organized and then turn to a complete mess

Open items: hook up doser, lots of zip ties, ATO. Eventually: need new door panels. Not really happy the way these came out.

Question on the stand @Intheflesh Are they expensive and is it steel or aluminum? Could you possibly advise price on a 200dt future build I’m Gathering parts as we speak. Any if all help is greatly appreciated.

Staqnd is 1x1x1/8 mild steel. Can’t really comment on cost. I work at a company that does a metal fab and it was done as a favor at cost basically. I think materials for my stand were about $50.

For a 200D, I’d probably go 1-1/2” tube. If your trying to come up with a ballpark cost for fabrication - figure materials x 1.5, 1-2 hrs to cut all your materials, another 2 hrs fit up/welding x $75-100/hr labor.

So its been a while since my last update. I set this tank up almost a year ago, and I'm not going to lie, I had let is slip a little (lot) after setting it up. We had just moved into a new house, and there were a million projects to do (such is life).

After dealing with some salinity and alk stability issues, the tank has been running quite nicely for the last few months, although it has been going through an "ugly" phase. I am running a zeovit system, and I might have been a bit too aggressive on the nutrient export, which caused some dinos. I tried increasing feeding, and that caused hair algae. lol
I think I have found a happy medium and the hair algae is starting to recede over the last couple weeks. Despite going through this ugly phase, I am seeing growth for the first time in over 6 months.

I received some new fish that are in quarantine, and a Battlebox coming tomorrow, so stay turned for some updates.

New Fish and QT setup. Did about 2 weeks of observation, and making sure everyone was eating. I have started them on medicated mysis last week (Focus/General Cure). Last night I added a half dose of copper power, and on Thursday will add the second half dose. I will keep them in Copper treatment for 2 weeks, followed by another 2 weeks of observation.

So far everyone looks good and healthy. I did lose one fish due to the package being delivered a day late.

The top one looks more like the rommel to me. Might have to wait a month or so to see it’s true identity
