MH Suggestions

has anyone ever had any experience with these lights? Looking for a light over my 35Hex. The mounting would definately help. What do you think?

Also looking at a 250W Aqua Medic Pendant.

What are your suggestions? What type of bulb should I use? I probably won't be supplementing with actinics. Will I still be able to get that 'blue' look?

go with a 14k phoenix, gisman (spelling?) or coral reef brand and you wont have to supplement with actinics. As far as fixture...are you looking for a retro or pendant? I went with the PFO pendant because its said to have the best reflector.

almost 3 weeks into my acclimation from PC to MH and I'm thrilled with the results so far.

sdesi, are you looking to go with a hanging hood? Ive seen a pretty small compact Aquamedic at guru's house that would do fine over a 35 hex.
