Mote Marine Lab. in Sarasota Fl.

Heading to Sarasota next week for some R & R. Has anyone ever visited the Mote Marine Lab down there? If so how was it, and is it worth going to see......

I was there when I was younger. Probably 10 years ago now. I thought it was really great. The displays are more educational than most aquariums, and they limit the displays to stuff they really study. Lots of rays and skates when I was there, although that may have changed since.
I'd recommend it.

I did look at the Mote Marine website, basic displays, etc...I still think it would be cool to go see some of the things there, and the biological or whatever aspect of reefs and the enviroment, and what issues are presenting change in our vast oceans. I'm sure I'll see some really cool displays.
