Mr. Slippery Reads more, Posts less Oct 16, 2004 #2 is it a u tube design? if so fill the tubes with water and cap the ends off with saran wrap and rubber bands. Put them in place and pull off the wrap. Or you could use a wet/dry vac and a piece of airline tubing to suck the air out.

N NanoReefer 25g Waterbox Oct 16, 2004 #4 Saran is the best My first attemt at priming one with an airline I didn't have a wet/dry vac. Yummy!!! I quickly found the saran\rubberband method much more pleasing. P.S. Capping them underwater is more of a pain but ensures that you get very little air in the tube!
