Pod Culturing

How do people who have fish like Six lines and Mandarins supplement their pods. I have a sump but not alot of room in it. I was thinking of putting a few more rocks in there and occasionally taking them out and rinsing them out in the DT to get the pods out. Not sure if this will be enough for my fish though. I have a Sixline and a mandarin. Both though accept frozen foods so they are healthy, but I would like to also get them their staple food to chomp on.

So, How do you guys increase your pod population and get them into the DT in significant quantities?

I should have titled it "Breeding pods" cause thats more accurate. I am gonna derail the jokes now by saying, No I am going to culture them by taking them to the opera. lol
