I have a submersible pump (hydor seltz l35) which was used for water cooling setup for PC's. I was wondering if their was a good way to clean the pump thoroughly so i can use for the fish tank. I was wondering soaking it on bleach for 24hrs or soak/water is enough?

I am not fimulre with your pump but in general you can clean pumps by running them in a weak acidic solution. So, you can put the pump in a bucket with watter/vinegar in a 1:1 ratio at let it run for a couple hours preferably overnight. The acid will breakdown any calcium deposits and other junk. If your pump comes apart, you can clean the inside and the impeller with a toothbrush.
