WTB Reasonably priced salt

Hey all, long time no post

Went to go buy salt online (IO Reef Crystals) only to find out the price jumped from $44 to $70 for a 5 gal bucket!!

Is anyone selling salt for a reasonable price these days?

Does anyone know the reason behind the astronomical 60% jump in price?

A bucket of Red Sea is around $50. I haven’t used it but I know another Bedford reefer who has.

I’ve been ordering online through Chewy. I wait until they have a special (buy 2, get 1 free item) and then stock up. And they deliver.

Chewy 200g reef crystals also $90 but every now and then they do buy 2 get 1 free. free delivery too. I feel bad for the delivery guy but its a good way to stock up whenever you see the deal.

There must be a supply chain issue. Prices are way higher than inflation would dictate.

Thank you for the mention, but sadly I just had to adjust the price on it. Just put an order in for a pallet for a client and had to go $69.00 each on the 200 gallon cases of IO. If anyone is interested in some at that price let me know and I can add on

The 60bl box is actually cheaper then the 44bl at petco. If you have vitals care thats another 15% off.
