The Connecticut Area Reef Society (CTARS) is helping to sponsor a coral farmers market (aquacultured corals) to be held at the E.O. Smith High School 1235 Storrs Road; Storrs-Mansfield, CT. Proceeds from the event go to help fund the E.O. Smith Coral Project, an Aquaculture Coral Research project at the high school.
The event is from 1-4 PM. A raffle will likely be held around 3-3:30pm. Admission is free. If you are interested in setting up your own tank to make your corals available, a $25 donation to the school project will get you your own "booth" at the market. For the $25, the event organizers will provide a 10 gallon tank and heated water if you want it. You will bring along your frags, a light of some sort, and water, if you want to use your own.
Reportedly there are already 20 people signed up for a booth.
