Make sure it is marine silicone

It depends. If all it is a snap on end cap like it appears (tab) then your all set. See if you can remove it. If it's filled with epoxy you're all set. Seio, Rios and Maxi Jet powerheads have a non-waterproof end cap on them.

all good guys I talked to Albert at aquacave - these pumps are fully sealed epoxied inside and the casing is just a shell and dose not provide any protection so - it is what it is....But works like new! So annoying when brand new things get dented and dinged so quickly!!

Anyone else good at wrecking nice stuff?!

If by good at breaking things you mean dropping a brand new mag 12 while you're taking it out of the box and breaking the impeller, then yes, I'm a pro at it
