I wanted to increase my water volume and skimming capacity. I had intended on renovating my sump or remotely setting up my sump to accommodate this skimmer but its not going to happen. Dont have the area to set up so time to get new plan.
I purchased this skimmer used from a fellow reefer last year. I tested in out and works great. I believe its the skimz dc 257. I took pictures with measurements (see below). Its rated for like 250 -300 gallons. Skimz makes great equipment and really sad I couldn't make it work with my sump arrangement. Full disclosure: the adjustment knob had been cracked but was repaired with Weldon and works like any acrylic threaded adjustment knob would work.
Pick up in Warwick RI or agreed upon location. I accept PP/Venmo but cash preferred.
