tank help

I have a friend that has and artificial reef that is made from the molded foam or maybe plastic. He has tried to use a pressure washer to clean them in the tank. The tank that he has is about a 6 ft tall and everything is glued into place which doesn't allow for him to be able to remove it. I would appreciate any help or ideas anyone has.

I'm not entirely sure what kind of algae it is but all that is in the system is sand and fish and the fake reef material.

Any powerwasher should take it off...I'd be more worried about the fake reef blowing apart.

If the tanks running whats he doing with the fish and sand when hes cleaning this stuff???? If it were me I would get in there and get my hands dirty for the sake of the fish.
