Thank God for duct seal!

So i kept getting tons of micro bubbles in the DT. I have an external pump for my sump, but between baffles, sponges and inlet placing i was able to eliminate 99.9 of the micro bubbles in my sump, so why did i keep getting them in the DT? My thought was that maybe there was a lose hose clamp, or a lose bulk somewhere. I tightened everything constantly. Still no luck, although it decreased a bit.

Today after months and months of trying to find a solution, i bought some duct seal and placed it around every hose connection and ALAS, problem solved. Im just hoping i dont get the " you should not have duct seal within 100 yards of your tank" reply... But just in case, any one has any concerns???

No! LOL I did lose my shrimp though, all my params are good and he was eating fine so idk what his deal was. Found him on his side up on one of my frag shelfs.

Glad you got rid of those micro bubbles, they can be very annoying when your water is perfect but you have those things all over the place.
