Video of tank breaking at Disney World.

..... I literally don't know what to say to that. Well I know what to say but I'm sure it violates forum rules lol. Thats horrible.

Oh man! Wonder who did the construction.

I was thinking the same thing. Obviously the seam let go.

Sort of glad the video ends before the inevitable happens.

I'd be running to the kitchen and getting pots and pans.

They must have some sort of disaster response process laid out.

I hope!

If they have anything, im sure it doesnt include saving the fish. Getting kids and people out of the way would come first.

WOW

Good thing they were able to save the fish :). I have a feeling this is gonna be a blame blame game... I don't see the ATM admitting to a faulty tank too easily. This is one of my biggest fear...walking into a "Lagoon" in my leaving room and/or the tank going through the floor! ::

If my tank ever broke, Cadlights would never admit there was something wrong with it. It would probably be a huge fight between me, Cadlights and my renter's insurance...

The thing with this is ATM set it all up, so it was either a seam failure or an installation failure which would still be on them. In the case its one of our tanks it can be an issue with installation, they can easily say the stand was not level and that cause the seam to weaken and fail, for example.

Just saw the video down here in Florida on the evening news as well.

Living color maintains all the tanks for the rainforest cafés and trex is also owned by the same company. I don't know if they actually made the tank but they deff do the maintenance. I hope all the fish ended up ok, I'm sure they just put them in the other tanks in there.

I'm assuming that you are talking about the casino tank thank broke a few years ago. Living Color only made the coral insert and plumbed the filtration system, the tank was manufactured by another company. It actually appears that the tank in this situation might have been manufactured by the same company as the casino tank. Supposedly this particular tank was not built by ATM either, but because there are several tanks at this location there seems to be some confusion in the press about which tank was ATMs and which tank was built by the other manufacturer.
Is this another Living Color explosion?
