watchman goby and firefish

do fire fish and gobys pair together? they both are sharing the same hole in my tank after 3hr of being put in the tank the other day...

They might have hid in the same hole by chance because there new additions. give them time and they will seperate. if there not fighting i wouldnt really fret too much. the watchman as you know is a bottom dweller and the I feel that the fire fish lives in the middle of the water column.
