So I got a two emerald crabs week or two ago just to eat some nucience algae...the other day I say some tips of my sps (all kinds) look white and not growth kinda like a break or whatnot...thought I was having alk issues tested everything and turned out ok alk mayb a lil low side at 7.5 ( I keep it kinda high) did water chages etc..and kept showing the rigid white tips and even pieces of the corals on sand bed couldent figure out why for the life of me...so today while my daughter was lookinh at the tank (only 14 months old) points at the crab and little do u know its on the sps coral breaking pieces off pulling polyps etc...never knew they eat coral but crabs are crabs I guess ..soooo guess I need to evict them if possible or it might just be a homicide....

I've had that happen before. Banished them to the sump. I've found emeralds to be more trouble than they're worth.

Yup one allread in back chamber and one to go....free for the taking if anyone wants them...
