Taken after lights out, turned on the living room light and saw them chilling.
I see my asterina problem bubbling up again lol
I've caught them eating my zoanthids a few times. 2 weeks ago I purged a bunch of them over a few days after one was parked on a new polyp of candy apple reds.Is there any downside to asterinas? I’ve never noticed anything.
Good looking posse!
I've always said they are harmless and poopooed peoples experience. But once I saw it myself I couldn't deny it. I'd pull on off the zoas chuck it. Come back and another would be in the same spot and then the young polyp was goneWow I hadn't heard that one. But in a similar vein, I observed Gammarus sp. amphipods chowing down on my zoanthids. Once I moved them to a frag rack they left the zoas alone and recovered.
About a foot long. Those are nice looking fish. How big is Eelvis?
