RRC Goldenrod Anacropora grow out thread

Recently I acquired a frag of one of my "dream corals" the RRC Goldenrod Anacropora. The purpose of this thread is to document the growth of this coral in my tank.

When fully colored up, this strain of Anacropora is bright yellow with red polyps. The colony my frag came from exhibited these colors. I acquired the frag from a BRS member in December of 2021.

It took about a month before for coral started growing in my tank. Unfortunately I didn't take photos from December or January.

February 6 2022: no red polyps yet. First two photos with orange filter with blue light. Third picture with kessil turned to daylight spectrum.

Nice I have the goldenrod myself and it’s one of the only acros I can actually grow
Are you getting any red on yours yet? My understanding is that as long as it isn't over lit, it's a pretty straight forward coral to grow.

I've kept acropora in my tanks for a while, but I only discovered anacros this summer. I have one of the yellow/green strains too, but it hasn't seemed to adapt to my tank as well as the goldenrod.

I have red polyps and intense gold color. I’ve found lower flow and medium intensity light seems to work the best

Anacropora is not Acropora, FYI, different genus. I had a brown one years and years ago, grew quite well, but no one ever wanted it. The fate of the ugly coral!!

Ok, so I haven't posted to this thread as much as I planned to. Here are a few photos under whites:

Another month, another update-- got a little lazy re. cleaning the glass and using the blue filter. But you get the idea:
