    Better ball valve

I just replaced a couple of hardware store ball valves with these and what a huge improvement. These are easy and smooth as butter to turn. Highly recommend. https://www.pvcfittingsonline.com/3-4-flui-pro-pvc-compact-ball-valve-gray-socket-fp-gs-007.html

    Timelapse of snail laying eggs

Probably just going to leave it to chance and see if any survive. There are no fish in that tank so the odds might not be too bad.

The bulkheads currently installed are 3/4" threaded. They could be easily be replaced with any other 3/4" bulkheads of your choice. But, yes, lockline nozzles fit the ones that are there.

    Sold Large gorgonian

It got a bit cropped out of the photo above. A bit hard to see even here. It's attached to a base rock in my tank, so I'll try to peal the base off but there's a good chance I'll just have to cut it slightly above the base. It does encrust over time.

Ques. (Question of the day) RO/DI water. what do use? How often do you make it and how do you store it?

My RO/DI system is in the basement. The output goes to a 5 gallon reservoir in my fish-room behind my display tank. I've automated it using a Flood Guardian that's plugged into a timer so that at 10 am every morning it fills the reservoir. The output of the reservoir goes to a float valve in...

    FS Sera X-feeder automatic feeder

Hard-to-find fish feeder. Works basically like the $200 Avast feeder but without the mixing chamber Pros: large capacity, consistent delivery due to worm drive mechanism Con: even on lowest setting delivers quite a bit of food. Should be fine if you have a heavily stocked tank $25 $15 $10...

    Paul B's thread

The magnum filter instructions say to use bleach to clean their cartridges. I'm guessing because bleach dissolves the really small particles that clog the filter
