I have a 10g qt tank under my display, in the cabinet. currently housing some rock and chaeto with a HOB filter with some marine bio balls and a coralife small light.

Doing 20% water changes on Sunday's. Just added some more corals yesterday, have 2 clowns, 1 damsel, 1 conch, a few hermits. I have a uv light but have not used it yet, I just added the conch to help with the diatom bloom. Thoughts on how things look so far? Day 1 was 4/20/2022.

thank you...I feel like it took weeks to cycle..I just had a diatom bloom before Mother's Day actually...which is progress? I got more corals than I thought...but I drove to Fishy Frags, which was an hr from me and got some good deals soI got about 6. Can I see a pic of yours?

so...heres my question...I have 3 big pieces of rock in my tank...and no other space for anymore rock....so do I leave it on the rock and let it take over one? Is it easy to cut back?

I would put it somewhere completely isolated. Once it has taken hold the only way to get rid of it is get rid of the rock.

Am I right in thinking my nitrate is too high? planning a water change (20%) for tomorrow...is that okay?

it’s a bit of a mess right now as my sea urchins are carrying corals and rocks all over the place!
