I bought a pair of clown fish. The funny thing is that one is a true perc and one is a false perc. They are the same size also. They do stay very close to each other and acts like a pair. Is it possible a true pair?

It is possibel that they havn't reached maturity yet and have not decided who will be the woman in the family. Does one of them show submissive behaviour? If you look at a tank of juviniles you usually can tell who is the boss and sometimes it isn't the biggest, but the healthiest one that is obviuosly the dominant one that will eventually be the female. Once they turn female, they will grow larger than the male will ever grow.
