Aquascape question

New build currently underway. Big thanks to wcj_ink for some incredible dry rock pieces.
Took a quick photo of the current aquascape idea. I am looking for advice/criticism on the layout. They'll be minor changes to the base of the large shelf structure to make a smaller foot print. Also the shelf rock in the center and right will be mortared to the main structure to look like 1 continuous piece.

Any concerns for the height of the rock to the water line? or any other concerns for that matter before I cement this thing together. Thanks everyone in advance

How much space is it from the top of the rocks to the water line? What do you plan on keeping, you can always trim things as they too big.

I like it
Unless you plan on having sps or some other kind of long growing coral I would keep it. I know people say not to go more then half way up the height but that really only applies to SPS reef there are plenty of lps and Zoas that would be very happy up there and don’t grow tall

Looks good! Can't tell how close the rock is to the glass, but make sure you have enough room to get back there as needed. At least be able to get a scraper by and keep the glass clean.

That looks awsome. Another consideration is hiding places for the fish. They really like there nooks and crannies.

That was my thought. How much sand? Right now all your caves would be under a 2” sand bed. Might want to add a cave or hidy hole

I think you need more height on the right side.
I agree. My macro rock mortar came in today. Have a few more days left of a bleach bath before the final aquascape. I building a two tier shelf plate on the right up to about a medium height built off the main structure. As for the sand I'm going with a very shallow bed hopefully that gives enough of a cave. My fish load is going to be very low probably a pair of clowns, mandarin, 6line.

Aqua scape is finished! Big set back after finding my wood floor over concrete was off, 1/2-3/4" over 4 feet .
