Ever since the Goby/shrimp pair arrived, the shrimp never stop digging. When will he stop? or it will go on forever?

When he gets the hole Just the way he likes it he will move it over a bit, then move it back to the old spot, then he will move it.............

Now the goby is getting used to me and he stares at me while I am watching the shrimp digs away. The shrimp actually seems very smart based on where he chooses to dump the sand...on top of corals.
