blueline pumps

I recall Brian (Aquaman) saying something about a Blueline pump that he really liked that's no longer made.

Has anyone had any experience with the newer pumps? I am looking at the BlueLine 30 HD-X

Wonder if the HD series is any good, and if they are close to as quiet as their hotter-running Velocity brothers.

Those are great pumps IME. I ran that exact one for a couple of yrs with no problems whatsoever. (I just sold it because I was no longer needing it).

Strong, quiet, reliable.

I ran the 40HDX for two years as my closed loop pump. Based on my experience I would highly reccomend Blueline. I think that quiet is a relative term. I heard it but would not say that it was loud.

I think Blue Line and Panworld the same thing, Panworld seems to be more common. I'm running a 40PX on my CA reactor and it does a fine job.

I have a Blueline BL-800 (NS Series). It works great; very quiet and energy efficient. They are not readily listed on their site any more so I assume that they have been discontinued. I have no idea why because I would highly recommend them.

I also have a Velocity T4 pump as a backup. Nice pump. Runs really quiet but uses more power and gets quite hot. That is why it is a backup.
