Hello and thanks for looking.
I grew this colony from a frag. It is the small polyp variety that I believe has now been reclassified as bernardpora. I bought it from a trustworthy reefer who told me he bought it directly from WWC, for whatever that is worth...I have not seen another one like it and I'm a big goni fan...
It has encrusted over the entire plug, domed out nicely and encrusted down the stalk of the frag plug as well. It seems to prefer lower light, lower flow areas. Beautiful reds and pinks, nice polyp extension. For the bottom two photos I blew on the colony with a turkey baster to show the skeleton better.
