clowns hosting?

how long does it take normally for a pair of clowns to host? i have a BTA and a pair of true percs.. i believe they are tank raised? i have had wild caught percs and they look much different and they hosted almost imediately but these guysjust swim right by the BTA

It's kind of hit or miss. They may go right in, go in at some random time in the future, or maybe never. I think it's like watching a pot boil, when you get bored and stop paying attention, then they'll decide to host.

One of my false perc hosted my rbta next day and I was completely surprised so it can happen like jimmy said just a matter of when.
