Wondering if anyone uses Brightwell Coral Amino? Is it snake oil or will it help? I read that it may help with color and thinking of giving it a try.

I’ve used em from day one so not sure I can confirm but there’s enough info out there that aminos are very important to coral health and growth.

I will use acropower instead. It is proven.
Only dose according to instructions on the bottle. Or you will get cyano.

My own experience makes me skeptical of the statement that acropower is proven. I just went through 500ml of acro power, which was dosed automatically at 4ml/day in a 50gallon tank. I ran out about 2 months ago, and now am not using anymore. I thought it may have helped when I was using it (euphyllias showed more improvement during that time than acros), but now that I am not using it, the corals look better still. I probably will not be buying again. I never saw it stimulate polyp extension. Polyps are out more now, since I ran out.

Acropower all day long I dosing 30ml a day for my system and corals happy and colorful
