When you get good service from a manufacturer of - well anything these days, it tends to surprise you. Bought a Reef Octopus 6 (needle wheel, reticulating) several months ago, and it’s always made this choo-choo train sound from the air intake. Chu chu chu... annoying as heck since reviews online say this skimmer is pretty quite.
Finally broke down and emailed Coralvue (on a Saturday). I get a personal response within 2 hrs – sent requested pictures and info on Sunday –and I get a response back from the same guy on a Sunday. Hear back today with the shipping info for a new impeller and airline free of charge.
