I have the 300gal model and was wondering if i could run phosban in it
and if so how much you think i'd need for about 130 total gal setup??

Check other manufactures' info.
I.E Amount of media recommended and match the flow fhru rate.

yah it says it in pounds like three pounds whatts that in phosban>
its got realy fine black and sand color substrate i wonder if its still good??

I run phosban in my Lifeguard Fluidized Bed Filter. I believe 150g of phosban is good for 150g. So you should run 2 canisters of phosban. Don't get it tumbling too much - low flow is best.
