I put a BTA in with the Babies awhile ago, about half would go into it. Kind of funny after a week or so one of the bigger ones would Chase off the others if they went near it, but they kept trying . So I don't think age has anything to do with it.
OK, so a BTA is not a natural host for them but they frequently take to BTAs anyway. Give them time, maybe try to picture trick. You could also try keeping all your feeding to right near the nem so as to coax the clowns closer in hopes that they will discover it sooner.
