Good macro lens for canon XSi?

So I am looking for a good Macro lens that wont break the bank, for my Canon XSi. I saw the Canon 100m macro but I am wondering if there is anything thats comparable for a cheaper price? Maybe a Tamron or something?

Anyone have any pics they took with the 100m canon lens so I can see how they look?

Keep in mind, I am not very good at photography and did not adjust the white balance at all either to try to get better color rendition.
