Long spine sea urchin

Just witness my long spine sea urchin releasing 4 streams of white fluid ( believe it to be sperm) twice in a row. does anyone know why this occured he is the only urchin in my tank. Had him for over 2 years and is growing and very healthy eater

Your urchin is wishing there was girl urchin around, it' nature. Maybe run some carbon since it may end up becoming pollution in the water if not eaten by various corals/creatures.
