more algae questions.

I read the post about "bought the wrong algae" i have bought some that was suppose to be cheato but now i don't really know?

it's not really curly like i have seen, it's more like stringy and does have little "grape" looking sacs. not many but it does have some. is it or is it not cheato?

since i have put it in my sand bed has gotten alot better, no more maroon algae and just a touch of green. so it's doing something.
