FWIW, a lot of LFS's will run moderate levels of copper in their systems. Not enough to cure the fish, but enough to keep parisite infections from blowing up and to avoid losing unreasonable amounts of fish. Stinks, but IMO/IME we really have to treat all fish as if they have one parisite or another.
I know this might be hard to hear right now, but if you had mated clowns and lost the female, your best bet is to replace her right away. Otherwise the male will turn female pretty soon.
