Mystery crab

So my tank is been up for three years. I have successfully grown Euphyllia and gorgonian but never had much luck with Zoas or other easily grown stuff like Yellow polyps or GSM. Today all of a sudden, up by the intake and overflow box, I see this. It is dead. What the hell? Is this a gorilla crab and could that have been my problem all along? Anyone know what this is?

Looks like a gorilla crab to me. It’s possible it could have eaten your coral. They’ll eat anything if they have to.
