need anemone identified

Got this guy and he definatly isnt to healthy, i'm going to try to bring him back. Was under poor lighting. Has a little clone that came with it as a bonus. This is my first attempt at an anemone so any input would be appreciated.

Looks like a brown/green BTA. You can try to feed it a piece of raw shrimp.

I'm not familiar with too many anemone species, but that doesn't quite look like a BTA to me. Maybe it is, but it's just unhappy, as you say. Not sure.

It looks like an "unhappy" BTA. Exactly like my first BTA when I just got it home. Actually, the anemone in the picture looked better.

I have two BTA and they all looked like that when they just got home. They also tend to split under stress.

yeah, i would say unhappy BTA too. If I remember correctly, BTAs are the only anemones that have stripes around their mouths. He doesnt look that bad...the little bleached one behind it looks in need of more help. Good light and feedings of shrimp and other meaty foods. And good flow, but not too powerful that it hurts it. BTAs usually find the spot they like best.

It is a BTA. Not too bad shape, feed it some raw shrimp ASAP.

it has been taking frozen krill beautifully. Thanks, I had a hunch it was a BTA.
